This week (5/13-5/19) there have been high temperature weather in some areas along the southeast coast, and the overall social power consumption has increased.
The daily consumption of downstream power plants has risen slightly, while the inventory of power plants is still at a low level during the same period.

From the perspective of power plant load rates in coastal areas, according to Qinhuangdao Coal Network monitoring data, as of May 14, in southern China, the load rates of power plants in Guangdong and Guangxi were 88% and 68%, respectively, up 8% and 15% respectively on a week-on-week basis.

In East China, the power plant load rates in Zhejiang and Shandong were 65% and 75%, respectively, with a week-on-week increase of 10%; the power plant load rates in Fujian and Shanghai were both 65%, and the week-on-week trend was flat; the power plant load rates in Jiangsu 70%, a decrease of 5 percentage points week-on-week.
