    Recently, the research and development of key technologies for energy storage systems to improve intermittent power access capabilities, a project in the field of advanced energy technology of the National 863 Plan undertaken by State Grid Liaoning Electric Power, passed the acceptance
    of the 863 project expert group of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

    It is reported that since undertaking this project, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power has studied the complementary mechanism of large-capacity energy storage and intermittent power generation, proposed the optimization method of energy storage power station and intermittent power supply configuration and multi-point layout, established a joint operation simulation platform of energy storage and intermittent power supply, developed energy storage system/intermittent power supply wide-area configuration software, energy storage power station energy management and control software, and established a multi-source coordinated dispatching system suitable for large-scale energy storage system access.
    It realizes the closed-loop coordinated dispatch and control of energy storage power stations and other power sources and
    power grids.
