Kyrgyzstan's Kabar News website reported on March 19 that in order to ensure food security and stabilize food prices in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz government decided to temporarily ban the export of some agricultural products .
The Kyrgyz government has decided to temporarily ban the export of the following commodities for a period of 6 months: - Some agricultural products banned from exporting to the Eurasian Economic Union: wheat, mixed wheat (mixture of wheat and rye), flour, vegetable oil, sunflower seeds, sugar, Eggs, etc.
; - Commodities prohibited from exporting outside Kyrgyzstan: beef, feed, barley, oats, etc.
