China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation announced that the largest hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply project in Guangdong, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hydrogen Supply Center Project, officially started construction in Maoming, Guangdong
.
The project has a total investment of 62.
44 million yuan, including a new hydrogen purification device with a design scale of 3000 standard cubic meters per hour, and a hydrogen refueling mother station with a hydrogen supply capacity of 500 kg/hr

The project will be constructed using Sinopec’s independent intellectual property technology, which has the advantages of small area and low energy consumption.
Sinopec is the largest hydrogen producer in China, with an annual hydrogen production capacity of over 3.
9 million tons, accounting for about 11% of the country's hydrogen production

6 sets of hydrogen purification production equipment have been built in Yanshan Petrochemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical, Hainan Refining & Chemical, Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, Qingdao Refining & Chemical and other enterprises, and 22 hydrogen refueling stations have been built in 14 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Guangdong and Shanghai
