    On March 31, Xinyi Photovoltaic Power Station, the largest photovoltaic power generation project in North China, officially entered the grid-connected power generation stage, and it is expected that the project will be fully connected to the grid in

    By then, the project will add 180 million kilowatt-hours
    of green electricity to the Binhai New Area every year.

    The Xinyi photovoltaic power station project is located on the south bank of the Ji Canal in Binhai New Area and on both sides of the West Central Ring Road, and will lay about 696,000 250-watt polysilicon cell modules

    It is understood that after the Xinyi photovoltaic power station is fully put into use, the annual power generation will reach 180 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to the total annual electricity consumption of 68,000 Tianjin residents

    It will reduce the use of standard coal by 63,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 158,000 tons
    per year.
