The launching ceremony of the first phase of the Kyrgyz National Fertilizer Plant of the "Belt and Road" project was held

On December 15, 2022, the preparatory launching ceremony of the first phase of the Kyrgyz State Fertilizer Plant was successfully held
.
The project is a major cooperation project
between China and Kyrgyzstan to jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative.
The total investment of the project is expected to be 260 million US dollars, and the investor will be handed over to the Kyrgyz government
free of charge after 30 years of operation.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it can produce more than 500,000 tons
of humic acid compound fertilizer and urea humic acid per year.
According to the agreement, the project will be the only fertilizer producer in Kyrgyzstan for 30 years

At the ceremony, Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister delivered a speech in which he will fully support the construction of the fertilizer plant and provide all conditions
for the formalities for the official start of construction.
The Kyrgyz ambassador to China first congratulated the launching ceremony of the fertilizer plant built by Baidoujia on its complete success, and pointed out that the development of economic and trade cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China is one of the main components of
bilateral cooperation.
