The Life Sciences Department of the Fund Committee solicits proposals for major projects

in order to do a good job in the development and financing of major projects, the Ministry of Life Sciences is now for the scientific and technological community to solicit 2021 major project proposals.
1. Major Project Positioning
Major projects should closely focus on the scientific frontier and major scientific issues in the major needs of the country's economic and social development, give full play to the supporting and leading role of scientific funds, and carry out multidisciplinary and comprehensive research to enhance China's innovation ability at the source of basic research.
major project projects should reflect "encourage exploration, highlight originality, focus on the forefront, unique ways, demand traction, break through bottlenecks, common orientation, cross-accommodation." The emphasis on limited objectives and limited scale requires that scientific objectives and key scientific issues be clear and focused, that interdisciplinary and research be carried out under the new research paradigm.
II, the main content of the proposal (brief description)
1, the basis of the project and domestic and foreign research status and development trends;
2, the scientific objectives of the project, core scientific issues and research content;
3, expected breakthroughs and feasibility;
4, the existing domestic work base, research conditions and team status;
5, the relationship between other projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and other national science and technology programs.
please submit a "Significant Project Proposal" to the Life Sciences Contact by 20 September 2020 (e-mail time and postmark time) (see annex for templates). Please submit 1 copy each of the electronic and paper materials at the same time, and the paper should be signed by the person proposing the project.
