Recently, Qiao Zening, a master's student of Professor Feng Cuiping, deputy dean of the College of Food Science and Engineering of Shanxi Agricultural University, published an online entitled "Effects of Sparassis latifolianeutral polysaccharide on immune" under the guidance of the teachers of the edible mushroom team activity via TLR4-mediated MyD88-dependent and independent signaling pathways in RAW264.
    7 macrophages" research paper

    the article.

Broadleaf hydrangea polysaccharides are a valuable edible mushroom
with a variety of biological activities.
To date, there have been rare reports
of potential molecular mechanisms by which hydrangea broad-leaved hydrangea neutral polysaccharides regulate immunity.
In order to study the immunomodulatory mechanism of hydrangea polysaccharides, neutral polysaccharides were extracted from hydrangea broadloba, and their structure, immune receptors and regulatory mechanisms were studied
    .
The results showed that the neutral polysaccharide of Hydrangea broadleaf was composed of arabinose, galactose, glucose, xylose and mannose, and the molar ratio was 6:12:63:10:5
    .
Hydrangea broad-leaved hydrangea polysaccharide is a pyranosaccharide with a relative molecular weight of 3.
2×105Da, which can promote the proliferation of RAW264.
7, further induce the secretion of nitric oxide, TNF-α, IL-6 and IFN-β, and upregulate the expression
    of immune receptor TLR4.
In addition, hydrangea broad-leaved hydrangea polysaccharides significantly increase TLR4-mediated levels
of TRAF6, IRF3, JNK, ERK, p38, and p38 mRNA and proteins.
The above results show that the hydrangea neutrosaccharide can regulate the immune function of RAW264.
7 through the MyD88-dependent and non-dependent signaling pathway mediated by TLR4 receptors, indicating that hydrangea broad-leaved polysaccharide is a new immunomodulator
