Table 1 is the result of our investigation into the engineering application of waterproof materials in China for 3 years. s; At the same time, Beijing-Tianjin intercity, Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Ning intercity and other high-speed rail projects of the waterproof layer are sprayed construction paint, so that the domestic waterproof coating application volume has also been greatly improved. It can be expected that with the increase of waterproof coating construction process research, it will also bring a new situation of waterproof coating application.1 The need for mechanized construction of waterproof coatings in China
According to the 2006 statistics of the American Coatings Industry Association, the spray rate of paint construction in the United States is 97%; Therefore, it can be estimated that the paint spray rate in the waterproof industry is very low. With the development of China's economy, all walks of life are improving their own technical level and grade, low-tech content, low-cost competition, although flooded with the current waterproof market, but definitely not the future direction of development. It is imperative to change the construction mode of waterproof coating, improve the construction efficiency and quality of waterproof coating, and catch up with the technical level of coating application in developed countries.
1.1 backward construction process caused construction defects and low-cost competition
At present, most of the construction of waterproof paint using rolling brush and scraping methods, this manual construction has many drawbacks: First, low construction efficiency, manual rolling brush single per day not more than 1,000 m2; Uniform, in order to ensure the effect, about 30% of the material is wasted;

1.3 Advantages of high-pressure airless spray construction
Coatings are sprayed with air spray, air-assisted airless spray and airless spray. 2 Taking JS waterproof coating as an example to analyze the enterprise benefits brought about by mechanized construction
2.1 JS waterproof coating construction equipment test selection
JS waterproof coating is a very common waterproof material, from Table 1 can be seen, in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 engineering survey, its application volume ranked 3rd and 4th, respectively. JS waterproof coating is a mixture of polymer emulsion and powder, characterized by a material viscosity of up to 10 Pa. 2.2 JS waterproof coating high-pressure airless spray construction in the actual project test
by Guerrex and Oriental Yuhong waterproof technology Co., Ltd., in Shanghai, 3,000 m2JS waterproof coating high-pressure airless spray construction project application test (Figure 5). Experiments show that high-pressure airless spray construction can improve the efficiency of more than 5 times compared to manual construction, construction effect has reached the effect of solvent-based coating application, surface flat, no seams, uniform thickness, two sprays can reach 1.5mm dry film requirements, after measurement, raw material use can be more than 20% savings than manual construction.

2.3 construction cost analysis

Saving raw material costs and labor costs, avoiding rework caused by reduced duration and quality, and enhancing the reputation of enterprises brought about by the improvement of construction level, the overall benefits are very significant.3 The transformation from manual construction to mechanized construction should be carried out
the mechanized construction of waterproof coatings is still in the initial stage of development in China, from hand-held barrels, shoulder roll brushes to hand-held high-pressure spray guns, not only need to do a good job of technical preparation, but also to adjust the concept and actively create conditions.
(1) research and development institutions should comprehensively test a variety of waterproof coatings, according to the paint parameters to study the most suitable cost-effective construction equipment;
(2) the use of on-site testing of waterproof paint mechanical construction equipment experience and promotion;
(3) enterprise leaders should update their thinking, look away, the courage to open up new situations, from the enterprise technology, management and other aspects of simultaneous promotion, to reach the international advanced level, but also for the industry's technological progress to promote
(4) manual builders are not high level of culture, the ability to accept new things, the need for organizers to provide guidance and supervision.
(5) professional training is very important, good equipment needs to be used and maintained correctly in order to achieve its full capacity.
