Increasing Kyrgyzstan ’s exports of vegetables and fruits to China and Russia is an important potential for Kyrgyzstan’s GDP growth .
According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, the increase in Kyrgyzstan's export of fruits and vegetables can accelerate Kyrgyzstan's economic growth, create jobs, consolidate Kyrgyzstan's economic and technological foundation, and increase income in agricultural areas .
In addition, it can also create value-added industrial chains for small farmers .
It is reported that under the framework of the World Bank’s "Development of Regional Economy" project and with the support of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture, Osh Prefecture and Osh City are actively implementing projects to establish and develop a value-added industrial chain of vegetables and fruits .
