    On February 12, the Ministry of Commerce issued a preliminary ruling
    on the anti-dumping investigation of styrene imports originating in South Korea, Taiwan and the United States.

    The Ministry of Commerce preliminarily ruled that there was dumping of imported styrene originating in South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, Chinese mainland the styrene industry had been substantially injured, and there was a causal relationship between dumping and material injury, and decided to impose temporary anti-dumping measures
    in the form of bonds on imported styrene products originating in South Korea, Taiwan and the United States.

    According to the ruling, starting from February 13, 2018, when importing styrene originating in South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, importers should provide corresponding bonds
    to the customs of the People's Republic of China according to the dumping margin of each company determined by the ruling.

    The margin ratios are as follows: Hanwha Total Petrochemical and Licheon NCC at 7.
