In order to further standardize and strengthen the safety design of chemical construction projects, and continuously improve the level of intrinsic safety and safety assurance capabilities, on March 13, 2022, the Emergency Management Department officially revised and issued the industry standard "Guidelines for the Safety Design of Chemical Construction Projects" (AQ/T 3033 -2022) and will be implemented on June 12, 2022

"Guidelines for Safety Design Management of Chemical Construction Projects" (AQ/T 3033) is one of the earlier published standards in the field of safety design management of engineering construction projects in China

The revision and implementation of this standard will effectively strengthen the management of chemical safety design, speed up the integration with international advanced engineering practices, and play an active role in promoting and supporting in order to accelerate the improvement of the intrinsic safety level of the chemical industry and effectively prevent and resolve major safety risks of hazardous chemicals
