In order to achieve the above goals, the "Plan" puts forward the key tasks and major projects for the development of the raw material industry, namely the "Five Chemicals and Five Projects
The "Plan" clearly stated that in order to advance the "dual carbon" goal, low-carbon manufacturing pilot projects will be implemented, and green and low-carbon development of the raw material industry will be promoted through structural adjustment, technological innovation, and strengthened management

Feng Meng, deputy director of the Department of Raw Materials Industry, said that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments have compiled implementation plans for peaking carbon in the petrochemical, chemical, steel and other industries, clarifying the implementation path and specific task arrangements for carbon emission reduction in key industries.
