The national carbon peak carbon neutral standardization group was established

On March 9, the National Standardization Management Committee issued a notice to establish a national carbon peak carbon neutralization standardization general group, and announced the list of 43 team leaders, deputy leaders, consultants and expert members

It is understood that the head of the national carbon peak carbon neutralization standardization overall group is a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, deputy director of the Environmental Resources and Resources Commission, former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Zhao Xiangeng; there are 4 deputy group leaders, They are Nie Zuoren, deputy secretary and president of the Party Committee of Beijing University of Technology, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Yu Xinli, chairman and researcher of the China Association for Standardization; Zhao Penggao, deputy director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission; and Li Zhiping, vice president of the China National Institute of Standardization

The consultants include 5 people including former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Du Xiangwan

The notice clarifies that the National Carbon Reaching and Carbon Neutralization Standardization General Group is responsible for putting forward proposals for the construction of China's carbon peaking and carbon neutralization standard system, guiding the development of national standards (standard samples), the implementation of standards, the internationalization of standards, and the coordination of relevant standards.

The national carbon peaking and carbon neutralization standardization general group shall, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Standardization General Group Construction Work Guidelines", explore and form effective working mechanisms and models, constantly sum up experience, strive to promote the implementation of relevant work, and give full play to standardization in the realization of carbon emissions.
