China News Service, Sanya, May 9 (Reporter Wang Xiaobin) On May 9, the national hybrid rice double-season project with a yield of 3,000 kg per mu in Sanya achieved a bumper harvest for the first time, and the yield of early-planting rice was 1004.
In November 2020, the average yield per mu of hybrid rice in the morning and evening double-cropping rice in Hunan exceeded 1,500 kg (3,000 jin).
On May 9, the demonstration site in Sanya Haitang Bay Rice National Park took the lead in harvesting early-growing rice.

The tested batch of "Chaoyouqian" rice was sown on December 16, 2020, and transplanted on January 13, 2021, with a planting density of 20cm* (20cm+30cm).
Three plots were selected at the site.
"There is confidence in the test target to reach 3000 kg per mu of double cropping.
