State Ministry of Environmental Protection recently sent a letter, agreed to the Gulf Environmental Science and Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. as a unit, the construction of the national environmental protection petroleum and petrochemical industry volatile organic matter (VOC) pollution control engineering technology center, construction period of two years.The Ministry of Environmental Protection believes that the construction of the National VOC Pollution Control Engineering and Technology Center is in line with the research and development needs of volatile organic pollution control and related control technologies for the petroleum and petrochemical industry.The main task after the completion of the center is: according to the characteristics of the petroleum and petrochemical industry, to China's petroleum and petrochemical industry volatile organic matter pollution control, improve environmental quality as the goal, break through the petroleum and petrochemical industry volatile organic matter monitoring, control key and common technology, effectively solve the current oil and petrochemical industry volatile organic matter pollution problem, drive the relevant industry volatile organic matter control technology progress.
