A report released by the United Nations on the 25th showed that the new crown epidemic may cause the world to lose 10 years of development results.

Before the outbreak, about half of the least developed countries and other low-income countries were at high risk or debt distress.

The report recommends resisting "vaccine nationalism", providing new preferential financing for developing countries, especially the least developed countries, and providing funds and debt relief to enable developing countries to cope with the epidemic and its negative effects.

Liu Zhenmin, deputy secretary-general of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, said that the gap between rich and poor between countries must be corrected immediately in order to achieve better reconstruction.
