The technology relies on the comprehensive test platform of thousands of tons of fine chemicals in the Huazhou Industrialization Test Base of Shaanxi Coal Research Institute and a special catalyst independently developed by itself.

The expert group headed by Professor Ma Xiaoxun of the School of Chemical Engineering of Northwestern University, after listening to work reports, consulting operation records, and analyzing and inspecting related data, focused on the assessment of the reliability, production capacity, and conversion of the hydroquinone 100-ton pilot plant.

As a fine chemical, terephthalic ether is mainly used in organic synthesis intermediates, spices, additives, etc.
