    Recently, the new process of producing propylene oxide from hydrogen peroxide directly oxidized propylene in liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed (FHPPO) passed the evaluation of the results organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation
    .

    Unlike the hydrogen peroxide direct oxidation method of propylene oxide (HPPO) process, FHPPO applies liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed reactors to propylene oxide production, opening up a new field of
    industrial applications for liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed reactors.
    The process has the characteristics of green and low carbon, high safety and good economy, and the key technical indicators are better than the existing process

    FHPPO adopts the liquid-solid circulation fluidized bed reaction-regeneration system instead of the traditional tubular fixed bed reactor, which strengthens the heat transfer and mass transfer rate of the propylene liquid phase epoxidation reaction process and improves the production efficiency
    of propylene oxide.
    The catalyst can be continuously recycled and replaced, which realizes a high degree of coupling between
    epoxidation reaction and catalyst regeneration.

    The project was launched in 2019 and the 100-ton pilot plant was completed and put into operation
    in 2021.
    From January 8 to 10, 2022, the Petrochemical Federation organized an expert group to conduct 72 consecutive hours of assessment and calibration
    of the pilot plant.
    The calibration results show that the hydrogen peroxide conversion rate of the device is 99.
    7%, the selectivity of propylene oxide is 98.
