According to official Orange sources, PEACE, the submarine cable system connecting Pakistan to East Africa, has now landed in Marseille
    .

Orange, which is the landing party of the PEACE cable in France, has successfully completed the landing of the PEACE system in the country and will be responsible for the construction of the landing station as well as operational services
    .

In addition, Orange is responsible for expanding the PEACE cable system to one of Marseille's main data centers, which is home
to the subsea line terminal equipment.

The first phase of the PEACE project will connect France with Pakistan via a landing site in the city of Marseille (France) using the Eurasian Route and connect France with Pakistan via a short route to Mombasa
    .

In the second phase, the project will be connected to South Africa via the Indian Ocean, with a total length of 15,000 kilometers
    .
The PEACE submarine cable will feature 16Tbps per pair and 200Gbps per single wavelength
    .

Through its partnership with PCCW Global and PEACE Cable International Network, Orange will benefit from enhanced cable capacity between Marseille and Kenya to support traffic growth in East Africa, particularly through Reunion and Mayotte
    .
The goal also includes finding alternative routes and reducing dependence on
existing systems on the east coast of Africa.

    Orange is a major player
in the global submarine cable market.
Orange continues to invest heavily in international connectivity projects, guaranteeing and continuing to improve the quality of
its international network services through more than 40 submarine cables around the world.
