Potassium persulfate
[Alias] "Potassium monopersulfate compound salt, potassium peroxymonosulfate triple salt potassium peroxymonosulfate salt; English name Ox-one, Potassium Monopersulfate Compound, Potassium, Monopersulfate triple salt, potassium-sium peroxy monopersulfate; Abbreviation :PMPS or KMPSCAS No.
[Structural formula] Compound molecular formula: 2KHSO 5 ·KHSO 4 ·K 2 SO 4 , relative molecular weight 614.
Molecular Structure:
[Physical and chemical properties]
Physical properties: It is a free-flowing white powdery solid, easily soluble in water, and the water solubility is greater than 250g/L at 20°C
Chemical characteristics: The active substance of potassium hydrogen persulfate compound salt is potassium hydrogen persulfate KHSO 5 (or known as potassium hydrogen persulfate)

[Technical Index]
[Preparation method] The raw materials for preparing the double salt are peroxymonosulfuric acid, sulfuric acid and potassium carbonate .
① It can be prepared by reacting hydrogen peroxide with metered chlorosulfonic acid
②Anodic oxidation method: electrolyze sulfuric acid with a platinum electrode electric cell, and the generated peroxodisulfuric acid H 2 S 2 O 8 will be hydrolyzed at room temperature for 5 hours to generate peroxodisulfuric acid.
H 2 S 2 O 8 +H 2 O=H 2 SO 5 +H 2 SO 4
Synthesis of potassium hydrogen persulfate double salt: Potassium hydrogen persulfate double salt is prepared by reacting a mixture of peroxymonosulfuric acid and sulfuric acid with potassium carbonate in a certain ratio.
