The PP industry's "capacity expansion wave" is raging

Haiguolongyou's (formerly Daqing Lianyi Petrochemical) PP plant was successfully commissioned during the New Year's Day.
It drove on January 16 and officially produced qualified products on March 4; Dongming Petrochemical (Hengchang) high-end PP project adopted mixed alkane dehydrogenation process , It drove successfully on March 18 and produced qualified products.
The 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant of Tianjin Petrochemical's product structure adjustment and oil quality upgrade and transformation supporting project successfully started up at one time, and qualified products were produced at the end of April.
On March 26th, Sino-Korea Petrochemical's Polyolefin Division II 300,000 tons/year polypropylene plant was put into use, and the material was successfully produced at 20 o'clock.
On March 21, the Gulei refining and chemical integration project undertaken by the Fifth Construction Company of Sinopec Refining and Chemical Engineering Group Co.
, Ltd.
was commissioned in the whole process of 350,000 tons/year PP plant and produced qualified pellet products.
The second phase of Donghua Energy (Ningbo) PP plant was successfully commissioned on January 28.
According to statistics, 7 sets of PP plants have been put into operation so far, with a total capacity increase of 2 million tons per year.
Up to now, the total domestic PP production capacity has broken through the 30 million tons/year mark.

In the later stage, the expansion of PP equipment has not stopped, and it means to accelerate the layout.

Although new production installations are expected to be postponed, it is an indisputable fact that the production capacity growth rate will accelerate during the year.
