Sinopec News Network reported on April 7, the first shale gas pre-exploration well Puluye 1 (vertical section) of the Puguang Gas Field in the Puguang East Syncline in the Golden Mouth Structural Belt of the East Sichuan Fault Fold Belt, Sichuan Basin, was successfully completed.

During the drilling process of the well, the Central Plains logging team undertook the task of comprehensive logging construction, in close cooperation with the drilling, drilling engineering technology research institute and other units, making full use of gas logging and geological data, X-ray elements and geochemical logging With other technologies, the oil and gas display and coring intervals were captured in a timely and accurate manner, and the drilling and coring task was successfully completed.

The well has drilled 8 cores in the 1st 1st member of Qianfoya Formation in continental strata, with a core footage of 142.
