At present, the distribution of wild Padong wood lotus in the country is only more than 500 plants, including more than 100 in Jiangxi, more than 400 in Hunan and more than 10 in Hubei.
Liu Yanling said that the phenomenon of fruitless flowering of Paton wood lotus is closely related to its flowering characteristics, such as opening in the evening, effective pollination insects less;
