The reform and development of public hospitals should do a good job in four jobs

On October 27th, the 5th Large Public Hospital Development Summit, hosted by Health Daily and hosted by The China-Japan Friendship Hospital, was held in Beijing on the theme of "New era and first-class hospitals". At the meeting, Wang Hesheng, deputy director of the National Health And Wellness Commission, delivered a written speech highlighting four key priorities for the reform and development of public hospitals.
Wang Hesheng said that the reform and development of public hospitals is a complex system engineering, only when carried out, not completed. The next step should focus on four things: First, to consolidate the results of the reform of drug supplements, urge all regions to implement the compensation channels and proportions stipulated by the state, establish a dynamic adjustment mechanism based on changes in cost and income structure, and explore ways to compensate for the cost of pharmaceutical services. Second, establish and improve the modern hospital management system, and carry out related pilot work, and comprehensively carry out the performance appraisal of public medical and health institutions. Third, we should promote the construction of a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system and accelerate the construction of medical associations. Fourth, we should put the enthusiasm of medical personnel in a more prominent position and speed up the establishment of a compensation system in line with the characteristics of the industry.
