    The group led by Professor Xiao Yunfeng and Academician Gong Qihuang from the School of Physics, Peking University, Frontier Science Center for Nano-Optics Electronics, State Key Laboratory of Artificial Microstructure and Mesoscopic Physics, and Professor Chen Jianjun, Department of Physics, Beijing Normal University, and Beijing Key Laboratory of Applied Optics The cooperation, the first proposed and experimentally proved the microcavity light field manipulation in phase space, which provides a new idea for the in-situ research of optical chaotic dynamics and the development of new photonic devices


    Microcavity light field control is of great significance in the research of basic photophysics and the development of advanced optical technology


    The joint research team realized the precise "cutting" of the dynamic orbit in the phase space by introducing a specific local structure into the asymmetric microcavity (below), thereby providing new possibilities for manipulating photon transport

    The co-first authors of the paper are the 2017 PhD student Qian Yanjun, the 2016 Ph.
