Recently, the "Innovative Team for Energy, Water & Air" interdisciplinary innovation team ITEWA (Innovative Team for Energy, Water & Air), led by Professor Wang Ruzhu of the Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, published a report entitled "Hygroscopic Porous Polymer for" in Wiley's international journal Advanced Science Sorption-Based Atmospheric Water Harvesting", the first author of the paper is doctoral student Deng Fangfang, and the corresponding author is Wang Ruzhu
.
This paper focuses on the current hot adsorption air water intake technology, and summarizes and analyzes the adsorption mechanism, adsorption-desorption characteristics and water intake application potential
of this kind of adsorbent material for a new generation of water intake adsorbent material - hygroscopic porous polymer (HPP).
Aiming at the air water intake system based on HPP adsorbent, this paper clarifies the influence of the adsorbent bed, solar absorber, condensation collector and other components on the working capacity of the system, and puts forward the structural design and coupling optimization strategy
of the overall system.
Finally, the paper looks forward to the future development ideas and directions
of adsorption air water intake technology.
This research work has important guiding significance for the development and construction of next-generation air water intake system, and has a great role
in promoting the industrial implementation of adsorption air intake technology.
