The project focuses on the actual needs and key technical problems in the field of impact protection, aiming to solve the problem of insufficient flexibility and protection of existing individual protective equipment, so as to realize the leapfrog development
of China's individual equipment from survivability support to combat capability support.
The core technology used in the project comes from a FIAM intelligent flexible impact resistance factor
independently developed by the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
This factor enables intelligent response to shock loads and significantly improves the impact protection of existing materials without losing flexibility
.
In order to accelerate the industrialization of this technology, Zhongke Lixin invested a lot of research and development efforts to form IMECAM low-density foam material for bullet high impact protection, and conquered the 30-ton pilot mass production process

The project will further carry out the research on the protection mechanism of individual protective equipment on the human body, the refined evaluation of protective performance and the multi-objective optimization design, and obtain the optimal parameter design of individual protective equipment, so as to achieve a significant improvement in the overall efficiency of protective equipment, and promote the upgrading of protective equipment and the improvement
