    News from this newspaper recently, led by Academician Zhu Beiwei of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and jointly undertaken by Northwestern University, Dalian University of Technology, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University and other universities, the Chinese Academy of Engineering consulting research project "Research on the Development Strategy of the Whole Industry Chain of Characteristic Food Resources Processing and Utilization in Qinba Mountains" The project kick-off meeting was successfully held at Northwestern University

    Tang Haiying, Deputy Director of the Second Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wang Xiaowen, Director of the Department of Environmental and Textile Engineering, Li Miaoxin, Chief Staff Member, Guo Lihong, President of Northwest University, Wang Xiushan, Vice President of Dalian University of Technology, Head of the Science and Technology Office of Northwest University, relevant leaders and research groups of the School of Food Science members attended the meeting


    The project specially invited Professor Chen Wei, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Jiangnan University, Professor Li Baoguo, Vice President of the Xi'an Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lin Xiaoping, Vice President of China Food Industry Association, Professor Gao Jinming of Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, and Professor Zheng Jianjun of Shaanxi Light Industry Research and Design Institute.


    First of all, Wang Xiaowen, Director of the Department of Environment and Textile Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a speech on behalf of the Academy of Engineering.


    President Guo Lihong delivered a speech on behalf of the project undertaking unit.


    On behalf of the project team, Professor Yue Tianli from the School of Food Science of Northwestern University reported on the project from six aspects: project background, research objectives and overall tasks, research content, research technology route, implementation progress, and budget.


    Afterwards, the experts commented and discussed the topic selection and research design scheme of the project
