Recently, The Russian company Eidos-medicine provided Dzhuntendo University in Tokyo, Japan, with a hybrid simulator that combines robotic patients with an internal medicine simulation exerciser with an estimated contract value of about $1.5 million.
this is a procurement under the Japan Personalized Medical National Program, which aims to train young doctors in internal medicine operations. Robotic-simulator-simulator is used to mimic patients during surgery, and with their help, can teach college students how to anaesthetize patients, perform different operations, wake patients from anaesthetic, and resuscitate after surgery.
2014-2015, Eidos-medicine has signed a number of contracts for the supply of medical simulators for shipment to the United States, Turkey, the European Union and CIS countries. Eidos-medicine's robot simulators have been used in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Crimea, Volgograd and the Russian Railway Medical Centre. With an annual turnover of more than $16 million, the company has a research and development team of more than 130 people.
