Food Partners Network News Russian Federation Veterinary Plantation Agency January 12, 2021 News: The Bureau's St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov Regional Veterinary Plantation Sub-offices legally destroyed 11.1 tons of fresh pears intended for illegal export to Russia, thus violating the Eurasian Economic Union in June 2010 The Regulations on the Implementation of Quarantine Phytosanitary Control Procedures in the Customs Area of the Eurasian Economic Union approved on the 18th, it is reported that when the officials of the Veterinary Plant Branch inspected a vehicle in the Sebezhisky District, they found that the fresh pears carried by the vehicle lacked relevant supporting documents: no label marking, no source certificate and phytosanitary certificate.
The Regional Veterinary Plantation Sub-offices of St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions have now implemented mechanical destruction of illegal products and initiated administrative proceedings against the violation.
