On January 23, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin signed Government Decree No. 33, which stipulates that from February 15 to February 28, Russian wheat export tariffs will be 25 euros per ton, and from February 15 to March 14, Russian barley and corn export tariffs will be zero.
from 1 March to 30 June, russian wheat export tariffs increased to 50 euros per ton, and from 15 March to 30 June, Russian barley and maize export tariffs were 10 euros and 25 euros per ton, respectively.
addition, cereal exports exceeding the quota of 17.5 million tons will be subject to a tariff of 50 per cent of the customs price of the product, up to a standard of no less than 100 euros per ton.
the decision was limited to cereal exports to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union.
the Russian government believes the move will help reduce grain exports and shift market participants from raw grain exports to higher value-added products.
