      RIA Novosti reported on March 27 that on March 26, the Sub-Committee Meeting on Tariff and Non-tariff Regulation and Foreign Trade Protection Measures of the Government Commission for Economic Development and Integration of Russia made the adjustment of export tariffs on some oil crops and the collection of edible oil exports.
    Tariff decision: 1.
    The floating tariff system for sunflower oil exports from September 1, 2021 to September 1, 2022, based on "export tariff = (guidance price determined by the Ministry of Agriculture-global benchmark price) × 70%" Calculating export tariffs according to the announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture, the guidance price of the Ministry of Agriculture is determined according to the data of Thomson Reuters, and the global benchmark price is US$1,000/ton.
    2.
    From July 1, 2021 to September 1, 2022, the export tariff on sunflower seeds will be increased from 30% with no less than 165 euros per ton to 50% and no less than 320 US dollars per ton.
    3.
    Extend the current rapeseed export tariff (30% and no less than 165 euros per ton) to September 1, 2022.
    The above-mentioned measures of the Russian government are aimed at ensuring domestic market demand and stabilizing prices.
