    Russia’s ZERNO News Network reported on June 23 that Nekrasov, Director of the Plantation , Chemistry and Plant Protection Department of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture , stated that the Ministry has no plans to change the floating tariff system for grain exports
    .
    The tax collected in the early stage of the system will compensate agricultural producers after being included in the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture
    .
    However, there are already calls for tariff cuts in the Russian grain market.
    It is recommended to determine the tariff base on a monthly rather than weekly basis, and to increase the benchmark price of wheat export tariffs from US$200 per ton to US$250 per ton, and to increase the benchmark price of corn and barley from US$250 per ton.
