The State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of Korea signed a memorandum of understanding on HACCP certification for the export of cabbage kimchi to South Korea

　　September 27, the State Market Supervision and Management Administration and the Korea Food Medicine Department of product security in a way online, signed the "Korean exports cabbage kimchi Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point ( HACCP ) certification memorandum of understanding"

　　South Korea will implement HACCP compulsory certification for some imported cabbage kimchi in accordance with the revised "Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management" from October 1, 2021
.
In order to facilitate the cabbage kimchi trade between the two countries and promote localized services for the implementation of related certifications, the two sides reached an agreement after multiple rounds of negotiations and consultations.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety accepts the on-site audit of the HACCP certification of cabbage kimchi exported by Chinese companies to Korea.

It is reported that, recommended by the Certification Supervision and Administration Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, China Quality Certification Center, Fangyuan Mark Certification Group Co.

, SGS Standard Technical Service Co.

, and Shanghai Tianxiang Quality Technical Service Co.
, Ltd.
have obtained Korean Food Safety Management Recognition by the Accreditation Institute (KAHAS)

Relevant agencies have begun to cooperate with the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to carry out relevant audit work
