Recently, the functional gene innovation team of the Vegetable Flower Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Vegetable Flower Institute) analyzed the antholin structure and the main modification types in tomato fruit through the study of anthocylin in violet tomatoes, and found four new anthocylin components in tomato fruit, which laid a theoretical foundation for the analysis of antholine synthesis and metabolism of tomato fruit. The findings were published online in Food Chemistry.
, a researcher at the China Vegetable and Flower Institute, anthotin is a class of antioxidants beneficial to human health and has certain medicinal value. In plants, anthratins can improve the plant's ability to resist adversity. Anthocyanins in plants mainly include derivatives such as chrysanthemum, geranium, moth oxalin, dwarf oxytocin and jin sunflower. The structural analysis of antholin is of great significance to the study of its metabolic pathway. Tomatoes are a popular fruit in the market, purple fruit tomatoes as a high antioxidant vegetables, favored by the market, but its antholine structure has been lacking in analysis. The study established a rapid quantitative method of fruit antholine, and detected 12 kinds of antholine in alfalbo tomatoes, and found that dwarf oxalin derivatives and anthratin derivatives were the main components of anthratin in the peel, and found four new anthratin components in tomatoes.
the research was supported by the national key research and development plan, the basic scientific research business expenses of the central public welfare research institutes and the scientific and technological innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
