Recently, the project of "Research on Suspension Crystallization Technology of Parthenachlorobenzene" jointly undertaken by Sinopec Nanjing Research Institute of Chemical Technology Co.
Previously, in the production process of chlorinated benzene, the annual by-product of Nanhua Institute mixed dichlorobenzene was about 4,000 tons, of which the total content of p-dichlorobenzene, o-dichlorobenzene and chlorobenzene exceeded 90%, which could not maximize
the value of the process.
In view of the high energy consumption and poor continuity of the existing dichlorobenzene separation and purification process, the Nanhua Institute cooperated with the Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute to develop a low-energy mixed dichlorobenzene treatment process, using the by-product mixed dichlorobenzene pretreatment + crystalline washing combination separation process, for the recovery of chlorobenzene, p-dichlorobenzene, product purity, high recovery rate, is conducive to the resource reuse of the by-product of the chlorinated benzene production device, further reduce production costs, improve the production efficiency and market competitiveness
of enterprises.
