    recently, a research team led by Bi Changxuan, Sun Yuxia and Zhang Xueli of the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and East China University of Technology have made progress in the synthesis of serum in E. coli. The findings were published in Microbial Cell Factories.

The study first introduced different lysate bioxygenase CCD and aldehyde dehydrogenase ALD in recombinant E. coli, constructed a new method of sedition acid synthesis, and optimized regulatory expression using RBS library regulation and CRISPR-Cas9 technology, and obtained high yield strains with sedum acid yield of up to 4.42mg/L (0.51mg/DCW) by establishing appropriate separation detection methods. The researchers then integrated the metabolic pathway of the glyco-based metastase UGTs into the production strains of E. coli Sedent acid and succeeded in obtaining the Serotonin cell factory. (
