For recent studies, the GPTMS-silicon dioxide nano-hybrid coating is fixed to the PC substrate. The coating enhances the transmission of the PC substrate and increases the WCA of the surface.
for research, the GTMS-silicon dioxide nano-hybrid coating was secured to a polycarbonate (PC) substrate by sol-gel
. Use perfluorooxyl-triclosane (PFTS) to modifie the surface of the nano-hybrid coating prepared. Through field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersion X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), atomic force microscope (AFM), attenuation of fully reflective Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) to esthrometry coatings, UV-vis-NIR spectrographs and water contact angle analyzer methods. In addition, the self-cleaning properties of nano-hybrid coatings are studied.
to improve the hardness and transmission of the PC substrate
the results show that the formation of nano-hybrid film improves the hardness and transmission of the PC substrate. FE-SEM images show a crack-free coating on the PC substrate. In addition, the modified nano-hybrid coating shows hydrophobicity (CA, 110 degrees) and is very effective in removing dust from water droplets.
