The working seminar of the Branch on Nutrition and Chronic Disease Control was held in Beijing.

On December 19, 2014, the Nutrition and Chronic Disease Control Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society held a branch work seminar in Beijing, chaired by Shi Xiaoming, Chairman of the Branch, and attended by nearly 20 members of the Beijing Committee and some members of the Beijing Foreign Affairs Committee.
meeting will focus on the future direction of the branch's work and its work plan for 2015. At the meeting, the participants put forward specific opinions and suggestions on the nutrition and chronic disease control sub-session of the 12th National Conference on Nutrition Science, and discussed seriously the training course on capacity-building for nutrition and chronic disease control proposed by the Secretary's Group. The meeting invited lu Xiangzheng, director of the editorial department of the Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine, to introduce the "New Ideas New Theory Academic Salon" project organized by the Chinese Association of Science and Technology, and the delegates expressed their willingness to give full play to their respective professional advantages and cooperate with the branch to participate in the project declaration work. The framework of the thematic report on the progress of nutrition and chronic disease control research in the 2014-2015 Nutrition Development Study was studied. It also proposed essay activities in nutrition and chronic disease control and enhanced collaboration with the Brotherhood.
This meeting is the first event held by the branch since its founding conference in September 2014, with experts from the CDC, universities, hospitals and communities in the field of nutrition and chronic disease control coming together to exchange and share their work and research results, while providing advice for the development of the branch and contributing to the promotion of nutrition and chronic disease prevention and control in China.
meeting requested the Secretary's Group to form a summary of the work of the branch in 2014 and a work plan for 2015 and to report it to the General Assembly as soon as possible.
