    recently, a team of professors from the Agricultural University of China, in collaboration with Wang Bo of the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Paleontology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, published a research paper online entitled "Early evolution of Nemopteridae illuminated with the first and oldest thread-winged lacewing in Cretaceous amber."

    The study, by classifying a large number of fossil specimens of vein fins in Cretaceous Burmese amber, found a beautifully preserved specimen of male python, the Chae cretaceous cretaceous gen. et sp. nov. (Figure 1-2). The discovery represents the first larvae found in amber and the first fossil record of lineworms.
    The new genus differs from the other genus of the linen subsoil in that its front wing RP-MA and R have a fork point near-wing base 1/3, the front wing RP branch is mostly forked and slightly bent back, and the male has a long finger-shaped plate (Figure 2). In addition, based on morphological characteristics, this paper reconstructs the development of the inter-genus system (Figure 1A), discusses the new genus from the aspects of system status, living habits, pollination behavior, etc., and demonstrates the hypothesis of the origin of gonwana of the line-line yako from the aspect of biometrics. The results provide important scientific evidence for the early morphological evolution, biological learning and historical biometrics of the group.
