In Kaufboilen, Germany, the House of Energy, a new concept of energy-efficient house, became the first house in the world to be certified as a passive building of the highest level
    .

The "Energy House" is the world's most sustainable building, with a 250-square-meter rooftop solar photovoltaic system, while the passive building design makes the building demand only 8kWh/square meter
    per year.
The building can generate up to five times
    its annual electricity consumption.

As the world's leading low-carbon energy-saving building, passive building has advanced concept, scientific principle, strong systematic, complete research and testing, mature technology and mode, rich application and construction practice and quality, and has leading technology and cost advantages
in all kinds of energy-saving buildings in the world.
The passive building grade certification is issued by the German International Passive Building Association, which is divided into three standards
    : standard, advanced and superlative.
The highest standard is a very strict standard
that requires an annual energy consumption of less than 30kWh/square meter and an annual energy generation of more than 120kWh/square meter.
Because Energy House is designed with a variety of advanced passive building technologies, its annual energy demand is only 21kWh/m², and although its annual energy generation of 103kWh/m² does not meet the requirements, it still passes the first "highest level passive building certification"
    .

    In 1988, Professor Mr.
BoAdam of Lund University in Sweden and Dr.
Wolfgang Feist of the Institute for Housing and Environment in Darmstadt, Germany, proposed the concept of "passive building", with the goal of designing a house
that does not require "heating and air conditioning active cooling and heating".

In 1990, the world's first passive building was built
    in Darmstadt, Germany.
Since then, a scientific research team composed of physicists, mathematicians, climate and environmental scientists, material scientists and professional engineers led by Mr.
Wolfgang Feist has carried out systematic research and testing of passive buildings for nearly 20 years, forming a set of technical and construction specifications
