    completed the "1,000-ton coal gasification slag aluminum-silicon fraction preparation of high-modulus water glass multi-generation technology", which passed the evaluation
    of scientific and technological achievements organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
    The evaluation committee, chaired by Academician Fei Weiyang of Tsinghua University, unanimously agreed that the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level

    Experts said that this technology can comprehensively solve the problems of low comprehensive utilization rate and unstable product performance of existing coal gasification slag utilization technology, support the solution of solid waste disposal in the coal gasification process, and is expected to become an alternative innovative technology, which is of great significance for supporting the green and low-carbon cycle development of
    large-scale coal chemical bases.

    According to Li Huiquan, the person in charge of the project and researcher of the Institute of Process of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the annual emission of coal gasification slag exceeds 50 million tons, there are utilization problems such as high content of toxic components and impurities, low reactivity, and difficult comprehensive utilization, the comprehensive utilization rate of the northwest large-scale energy base is less than 10%, and the cumulative storage of hundreds of millions of tons in the country has caused serious water, soil and gas compound pollution, and its large-scale and high-value utilization is an urgent problem
    for the industry to solve.

    Based on years of research and accumulation on the high-quality utilization of coal-based solid waste, the green process and circular economy technical team of the Institute of Process Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences carried out technological innovation research on large-scale and high-quality utilization of coal gasification slag in 2016, and made breakthroughs
    in the mechanical and chemical collaborative activation of gasification slag, coupling impurity removal, deironization and detoxification of activation liquid to prepare polyaluminum chloride (PAC), and the preparation of high-modulus water glass by oligomer structure regulation of dilute alkali system.

    Subsequently, the Institute of Process Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Sinopec Ningbo Technology Research Institute Co.
    , Ltd.
    completed the 1,000-ton pilot test and prepared high-modulus and low-impurity water glass products, realizing the all-wet green and low-carbon preparation of high-modulus water glass for bulk chemicals, the comprehensive utilization rate of gasification slag was higher than 95%, and the carbon dioxide emission reduction was more than
    50%.

    The project team also prepared and formed a large-scale high-value utilization engineering application solution for gasification coarse slag (wet base meter) in a 2,000 tons/year gasifier, which can support the demonstration construction
    of 200,000 tons/year gasification crude slag large-scale high-value utilization project.
    Up to now, the project has obtained 6 national invention patent authorizations, and participated in the compilation and release of 2 group standards
