Three examples: the application of "data science based on kinetics" in life sciences |
Since the 21st century, biological big data has developed rapidly in terms of quantity (multiple data types, large number of samples, multi-time sampling, etc.
Traditional biological data research methods are mostly based on the static statistical information of the data, that is, "statistics-based data science".
However, even static data often contains the dynamic characteristics of the system.
"Dynamic-based data science" combines dynamical system theory, statistical theory, and the actual background of data, and provides a solid and computationally efficient theory and method for processing and interpreting dynamic biological big data.
In the recently published in the "National Science Review" (National Science Review, NSR) view article in Keyuan Biochemistry and Cell Biology Chen Luonan researcher (corresponding author), Dr.
