    On March 22, the 300,000-ton/year acrylonitrile plant of the first phase of the nylon new material project of China Chemical Tianchen Qixiang New Materials Co.


    The construction content of the first phase of Tianchen Qixiang nylon new material project mainly includes the construction of a 300,000-ton/year acrylonitrile co-production hydrocyanic acid plant, a 50,000-ton/year sodium cyanide plant, a 90,000-ton/year hydrocyanic acid plant, and a 200,000-ton/year hydrocyanic acid plant.


    The acrylonitrile plant, as the upstream plant of adiponitrile, has laid the foundation for the smooth production of qualified adiponitrile products in the next step and the formation of a complete nylon industrial chain system


    Tianchen Qixiang nylon new material project adopts its self-developed adiponitrile technology


    The project started construction in February 2020 and entered the plant construction phase in May
