1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of peroxide content in butadiene for industrial use
This standard is applicable to the determination of peroxide content in industrial butadiene in terms of available oxygen mass (1/2O 2 ), and the determination range is 1-10 mg/kg
2 Reference standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute provisions of this standard through quotation in this standard
GB/T 601-1988 Preparation of standard solutions for chemical reagent titration analysis (volume analysis)
GB/T 6682-1992 Analytical laboratory water specifications and test methods
GB/T 8170-1987 Numerical Rounding Rules
GB/T 13290-1991 Industrial Propylene and Butadiene Liquid Sampling Method
3 Method summary
Take an appropriate amount of butadiene sample, place it in an Erlenmeyer flask, evaporate on a 60℃ water bath, then reflux the residue with acetic acid and sodium iodide reagent, and titrate the iodine released by the reaction with a standard sodium thiosulfate solution , Determine the end point of the titration visually
4 Reagents and solutions Unless otherwise specified, the reagents used in this standard are all analytical reagents, and the water used is in compliance with the specifications of Grade 3 water in GB/T6682
