Trina Solar supplies photovoltaic modules to solar power plants in Japan

Last month, Trina Solar signed a contract with Toyo Engineering Corporation to supply 96.
2 MW of photovoltaic modules to Japan's Hosoe megawatt-class solar power plant, and recently announced that it will supply another 57.
1 MW of photovoltaic modules
to a large solar power plant it is building in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

, the project is built on an abandoned local golf course in Osaki City and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year and start generating electricity

The clean electricity generated by the solar plant will be sold to Northeast Power for local use

At present, the shipment of photovoltaic modules has begun, and it is expected that all supplies
will be completed in the third quarter of 2016.
This is the second time that Trina Solar has become the exclusive supplier
of large-scale power plant projects in Japan.
