Vascular endotrophic dysfunction is a common vascular stability disorder in patients with hypertension, characterized by endothorphic cell oxidative stress, malignant migration, inflammatory response and active adhesion response. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are important participants in vascular cell communication and are considered important factors in the development of vascular disease. However, the mechanism by which blood pressure-lowering peptides affect endotential dysfunction induced by EVs is not clear. In this study, the School of Food Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology,
Tianyuan Song, Lin Zheng, Mouming Zhao, et al.
of the Guangdong Food Green Processing and Nutrition Regulation
    Engineering
    Technology Research Center
studied whether blood pressure-lowering peptides Val-Pro-Pro (VPP) and Ile-Pro (IPP) can improve the effects of EVs on endotlancular dysfunction induced by angiotensin II-induced vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). The oxidation/antioxidant balance, migration, tube and cell adhesion of human umbilical endoskin cells induced by EV were observed by methods such as dihydroethylene staining, wound healing experiment, 3D cell culture and U937 monocyte co-culture. VPP and IPP reduce reactive oxygen levels and EV-induced adhesive molecular expression by upliving the expression of endospinal nitric oxide enzyme, and restore the ability of blood vessel formation. VPP and IPP lower IL-6 protein levels to 227.34±10.56 and 273.84±22.28 pg/mL, IL-1 beta protein to 131.56±23 .18 and 221.14±13.8pg/mL, MCP-1 protein levels decreased to 301.48±19.75 and 428.68±9.59 pg/mL. The above results show that VPP and IPP are potential drugs to improve endothystic dysfunction caused by EVS, which induces the production of vascular smooth muscle cells.
