Tunisia launched a tender for solar and wind power with a total capacity of 1 GW
A few days ago, the Ministry of Energy announced the application
for prequalification.
Bidders will later participate in bidding for construction, ownership and operation of projects

The solar tender involves five projects, which are 50MWp in Tozeur, 50MWp in Sidi Buzid, 100MWp in Kairouan, 100MWp in Gafsa and 200MWp
in Tatavin.
The wind tender consists of three projects, Jbel Abderrahmane 200 MW capacity in Nabeul province, Jbel Tbaga in Kebili province with 200 MW capacity
proposed by the developer.
The locations for the first two projects were provided
by the State.
The government has hinted that solar and wind tenders are coming

As early as May, Tunisia approved 10 photovoltaic projects, six of which have a capacity of 10 MW and four have a capacity of 1 MW
