BP, Chevron and CNOOC are among
the 12 companies approved to bid in Brazil's October auction of exploration rights, Brazilian oil regulator ANP said on Monday.

In addition, ExxonMobil, Colombian national oil company Ecopetrol, Norway's Equinor, Australia's Karoon, Qatar's QPI, Spain's Repsol, Dutch Shell, France's Total and Brazil's national oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA were also allowed to bid
at the auction.
